Special thanks goes to Natalie R for demonstrating true customer service. Calling me with details on road closures that would have hampered my journey, and for providing details of an alternative route. Plus, the service with a smile when I arrived.

Since moving my dog to the VH earlier in the summer we've made 3 or 4 visits. I'm always impressed by the kindness of the vets towards my dog and towards me. I feel heard and I feel that everyone has an abundance of time. Our appointments are never rushed and I feel that the primary goal is to make my boy well rather than trying to squeeze the most amount of money out of my pocket.

I have been with The Veterinary Hospital for a few years now and was so glad to find their Skellingthorpe hospital. It's further away for me but has such a personal feel to it, Sophie the vet, and Natalie R today looked after Bruno, who is a worrier, and our new dog Sasha with so much care, that in bigger surgeries is often missing. Do give it a try if you, or your pet might prefer calm and friendly. Plenty of parking, nice dog walks nearby if you want to stretch your legs, and then you could go to doddington hall after for a coffee. Almost a day out!!! Thank you to the whole team for being fab. Bruno 🐾 and Sasha 🐾

I’ve just transferred my dog from a different vets. We have been to both Newport and Skellingthorpe sites. The staff were wonderful at both. And amazingly helpful. It’s feels a bit morbid praising this, but I do like the candle on the counter. It’s a lovely way of saying that someone is saying fair well to their pet. And that the staff might be running late because of comforting those involved. I’m very impressed.
