  I visited with my sister who lives in Guernsey. I went with her when she took her dog to The Eturs. The staff seemed quite stressed and there was a lot of shouting from the back we could both hear quite clearly in reception. Seemed a bit unprofessional if I'm honest.

  On one occasion this practice did an amateurish job of stitching one of my dogs, then took the stitches out prematurely, and the wound reopened within a day, they then charged me £400 to redo them! Then when my other dog caught a serious infection they refused to put him on antibiotics (quoting antibiotic resistance) despite our protests, after which he got sicker and sicker, to the point where we very nearly lost him. They kept repeating that he was an old dog, I assume meaning that he wasn't worth trying too hard for. After 3 months of worry and misery (and about £1,000 in costs) they finally relented and put him on a spectrum of high strength antibiotics. A little over a week later and he was back to normal. I truly believe we could have been spared the worry and cost if they had listened to us in the first place.

  Thank you Les eturs vets. Our gecko “echo”! Has had a foot spa tonight due to our inexperience of shedding right down to his toes. After 30 mins foot spa, looking 3 feet better already. Thank you. Also grass hoppers busy on garden weeds and fattening up ready for echo’s next feed.
