I was on holiday in Scotland this week with my dogs, staying at balmaghie dog friendly lodges, (I visit every year) on Monday whilest out with the dogs, a wasp stung my girl. Within minutes her legs had seized up and her eye was swollen shut. The owners of balmaghie recommend this vet in their booklet so I called and drove straight to them. They got us in straight away, checked her over, gave her an injection, and some tablets to take away. Within a few hours she was back to her normal self. Extremely stressful situation but handled brilliantly. I'm also registered now with this vets, as well as my own back home, so when we visit balmaghie lodges in the future, I'll have no problems using them if needed. When it came to paying, I was shocked at how little it cost. Just under £39... It costs me double that just to be seen without any treatment at home. Staff were all incredibly kind, especially as I was slightly erratic with stress and worry. Thank you all for helping me with my girl Doris, the reaction could have gotten nasty very quickly. Forever grateful❤️
Read on Google →Our labrador was very poorly with D&V one Saturday night/Sunday morning. Bruce saw us without hesitation. He was so kind, thorough, knowledgeable and absolutely fantastic with our dog. Thanks to him she recovered fully after a few days.
Read on Google →Great with all animals, but the fact that my dog loves to go to his vet appointments speaks volumes. Wonderful staff - thank you for all the hard work!
Read on Google →I have used this vet for a number of years. Today I had to put my poorly cat to sleep. I cannot fault the service from stewartry vet. Bruce came to our home and made what was a distressing situation so much easier. My cat "fell asleep" so peacefully and no distress to us or our lovely cat. Very professional, very compassionate and so kind. Would highly recommend this practice. Thank you so much.
