  An independent, well-equipped reasonably priced vets; able to perform the majority of surgeries in-house and with scanning facilities. We are new clients and were able to see the same vet, Joe, throughout our dog's treatment. Joe exudes competence. His manner and experience allowed him to give a nervous rescue dog a thorough physical examination. He allowed plenty of time to explain everything we needed to know and we were given an honest and accurate appraisal of our dog's condition. There was no pressure to spend money. We were recommended The Lowestoft Vet by a friend and would whole-heartedly recommend them ourselves. John and Sarah

  I cannot thank the amazing team at Lowestoft Vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed to our beloved cat, Spike. From the moment he was admitted, they did everything they possibly could to help him. Throughout his stay, they kept us informed with phone calls three times a day, updating us on his condition and answering any questions we had. They also made sure we were able to visit him, which meant so much to us during such a difficult time. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let Spike go. The kindness, empathy, and professionalism shown by every member of the team made an incredibly painful experience a little easier to bear. They treated Spike with such love and dignity, and they supported us every step of the way. We will always be grateful for everything they did for Spike and for us as a family. Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and outstanding care. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lowestoft Vets to anyone looking for a veterinary practice that truly cares about both its patients and their owners.

  So grateful for the care my cat received and the support I was given by The Lowestoft Vet. Felix became critically unwell while being looked after by my mum in Lowestoft. I was so worried that we couldn't take him to his usual vet, but was lucky to find Joe and his team at 10pm at night! Felix was admitted and spent the next 48 hours being looked after and investigated at The Lowestoft Vet. After we discovered during exploratory surgery that he was riddled with tumours, I made the decision to let him go peacefully. I got to spend time with him prior to the surgery and, when I left, he was purring away contentedly. Joe and his team took Felix's paw prints and clipped some of his fur for me and also gave me some poppy seeds to sprinkle in his memory. The care and attention we both received during this awful time has left me feeling contented that we all did our best for Felix. Thank you so much to Joe and team - you're all superstars.

  Kelly was incredible. I called about an upcoming trip to France that we wanted to take our 10 year old dog on - but we knew he needed vaccinations and check ups, and he’s not great at the vets! Not only did she help with recommendations for medication to help him relax for his upcoming trip but she worked out the vaccinations along with the dates he needed to have them by (which is quite complex!) Not stopping there; as he needed a health certificate to travel - which they don’t do - she called a local vet in Caister and passed on their details for us to go there. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the support and help. The best customer service I’ve ever had, and with something that was causing us a lot of worry. So grateful, Kelly. Thank you!

  When my cat suddenly became very poorly, I was understandably devastated and anxious. From the moment I brought him in, Kate was absolutely amazing. She took the time to clearly explain all the options available and was completely honest about the costs involved, allowing me to make informed decisions without ever feeling pressured. My cat needed to be hospitalised for four days, which was incredibly distressing for me. However, I was able to visit him, which meant so much. Kate went above and beyond by calling me every morning and evening with updates, providing reassurance during a very worrying time. Once he was stabilised, she carefully talked me through the long-term management of his condition and the next steps, making sure I felt confident and supported moving forward. All the staff at the clinic are so friendly and genuinely caring. You can tell they truly love what they do. The receptionist even submitted my insurance claim for me, which was one less thing to worry about during an already stressful time. I really couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough. Thank you to Kate and the whole team for the compassion, honesty, and exceptional care you gave my cat.
