I’m extremely disappointed with how Tay Valley Vets now operate. We’ve been with them for years and have spent thousands of pounds during that time but loyalty clearly means nothing to them anymore. The final straw was when our cat ate food that had been left out cooling. We called for advice and were told they had to contact an external poisoning service and that we would be charged. We asked if we could call ourselves and were told no, it had to be them. They later called back to say everything was fine and charged us over £40 just for that phone call. Afterwards we discovered we could have called the service ourselves for free, but trusted our vets and let it go. Then we received a letter asking for an additional £24 which hadn’t been mentioned previously during our phone call. We missed responding and they immediately escalated it. We received another letter stating our account had been sent to a debt collector, warning of additional charges and potential impact on our credit score, and informing us they would no longer provide veterinary care for our animals. All over £24. No respect for long standing clients. Just money, threats, and cutting off care. This practice has clearly shifted from caring about animals and their owners to prioritising profit and aggressive billing. I would strongly advise anyone considering Tay Valley Vets to think twice especially if you expect compassion, transparency, or basic decency.

We would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to Rebecca, Christine, all the vets, and the entire team at Tay Valley Vets. Our beautiful Holly first came into your care at just eight weeks old, a tiny bundle of love, and from that moment she absolutely adored every single one of you. Over her nine and a half wonderful years, she was always met with such warmth, patience, and kindness. She knew she was safe with you, and we always felt the same. When the time came for our precious girl to make her peaceful journey over the rainbow bridge, you surrounded her—and us—with extraordinary compassion. The gentleness in your voices, the respect in your actions, and the tenderness you showed Holly in her final moments will stay with us forever. You helped her pass with dignity, wrapped in love, and you held our hearts together when they were breaking. In the hardest moment of our lives, you were truly our angels. Thank you for caring for Holly so beautifully from her very first day with you to her very last. Your kindness will never be forgotten, and we will always be grateful for the love you gave our little girl.

I recently brought in my one-year-old husky, who I rehomed from a previous owner, to Tay Valley Vets for his microchip and vaccinations. The whole team was fantastic from start to finish — friendly, professional, and very reassuring. They treated my dog with so much care and patience, making the visit stress-free for both of us. Everything was explained clearly, and the process was quick and smooth. I couldn’t be happier with the service and highly recommend Tay Valley Vets!

Moved to Tay Valley Vets over 10 years ago due non satisfactory service from another well established Perth vets. All I can say is the level of service from EVERYONE at Tay Valley Vets is second to none. Especially during the difficult time of having to say goodbye to our 17 year old much loved Labrador Buster 2 years ago. They were extremely understanding and did what they could to ease the heartbreaking process. They don't treat you just as a customer or in our case our furry family member as a cash cow. They respect you, your feelings, and put your furry family members welfare first. We visited with our new addition (a rehomed 6 year old Labrador called Sol) almost two years after saying goodbye to Buster and the vet commented "you've got big boots to fill" obviously remembering how biddable and precious Buster was to us. Thank all at Taylor Valley Vets 🐾🐾❤️
