  DO NOT contact Swayne and Partners in an emergency. My dog was seizing and the receptionist did not want to know. Despicable service.

  It’s so disappointing/sad to see Swayne and Partners become part of a large corporate chain. Many of the loyal, long-standing staff have left both the Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket branches, and over the past 6–12 months the service has felt far less personal — little continuity, a more corporate tone, and at times, abrupt interactions, even the vets! After seven years, we’ve decided to move to another local vet (Ashtree) who so far are incredible! I understand the need for profitability, but when clients feel like numbers with their beloved pets, rather than individuals, many will follow suit.

  I go to the Haverhill Swayne and Partners and my dog Penny loves everyone, it was my first time at Newmarket as Penny had to have a scan which Rachel the vet only dud but Newmarket is the same everyone is so friendly, caring, approachable and just lovely and Penny was so comfortable with everyone, I cannot recommend Swayne and Partners enough they are amazing Thank you ❤️

  Sadly my parents had to rush my cat to the vets yesterday after she became seriously ill very quickly. The vet was kind, thorough and compassionate, speaking to me on the phone to explain the prognosis. We had to make the tough decision to put my cat to sleep, but my parents were so impressed with how everything was managed and it's brought me some comfort at a difficult time.

  Our dog had endocarditis, a very rare fatal condition thays basically an infection in the heart. I truly believe that if Vet Rachel hasn't acted so quickly, he would have died. Now he's doing great. She immediately injected anto biotics and got a blood test done. Later on, we went to Queens vetinary hospital, where we spoke to one of the top small animal cardiologists in Europe! She said our local vets had done extremely well to identify Milo's illness as endocarditis so quickly. Also, whenever Milo goes in, he allways come out smelling of perfume, which I can guess its them all giving him cuddles, which it adorable!! Highly recommend
