  Catherine, Josh, Samantha and all the staff were so kind, our African Grey was referred to the as her developed a neurological condition, they all tried everything they could but unfortunately Bert had to be put asleep as his condition had no cure, all the staff were so kind and professional the whole way through. We even received a card in the post a couple of weeks after which was so nice! Would highly recommend Suffolk Exotic Pets.

  Although I haven’t used this service as a pet owner, I have needed to get in contact with Suffolk Exotic Vets as a veterinarian myself, seeking for exotic expert advice out of hours, whilst dealing with a complicated case in my own practice. I have discussed my case with Catherine, who’s guided me through the interpretation of my case and discussed a suitable intervention, providing excellent second-opinion advice and professional support for an avian case. As a veterinarian myself, I immediately recognised the thoroughness and excellent quality of their service provided, even just via phone contact from the other side of the country. To veterinarians seeking for exotic advice - this practice provides an excellent service for advice and support, which might be hard to find elsewhere, especially out of hours.

  10/10. Having been a tortoise owner for nearly 20 years and 6-7 years in my adult life this is the best experience I’ve received for Veterinary care for my shell baby’s. I have mostly have had Catherine treat my animals. She is amazing and so knowledgeable and Michaela, as well as a young male vet. They are amazing at what they do and it’s so refreshing to have a vets that actually know and have experience with tortoises. Haven’t gone to a few different surgeries previous to this. I’m so glad that I found Suffolk exotic vets. All of the other vets I went to hadn’t got the proper training and knowledge or experience on tortoises. It is a bit of a drive from me but I’d far rather travel to receive their expertise. We’ve been with them now for roughly 3-4 years and I’ll never take my tortoises anywhere else.

  My wife and I have used this practice for a year for our dear rabbit, Bonnie, who has suffered ill health from time to time over the year. They are very knowledgeable and caring. Today was a very sad day as we had to have Bonnie put to sleep. Josh saw us. We shall be forever grateful to him for taking the time to explain the details of Bonnie's ailments by reference to the CT Scan and the bacterial results and antibiotics. He was entirely professional, knowledgeable and profoundly sympathetic. We were not rushed and were able to spend appropriate time with Bonnie to say goodbye. Thanks too to the staff for their care.

  I found decided to change to this vet after having g multiple 'normal' vets not seem to know what to do with my rats. Since coming here I've felt so much happier in their health. A little more money than a classic vet but so worth every penny due to their expertise. I trust these guys completely. They also have an app for communication which is brilliant.
