  If you want to see a proper " James Herriot" type vet that actually use their vetinary skills rather than convincing you to have every test under the sun , then go here for a proper diagnosis. All other vetinary practices are just in it for making money, not caring for your pet. This practice and the Heaton branch deliver proper vetinary skills, unlike the huge branches who are owned by huge companies, who just want to take your money for unnecessary tests ie Vets4pets is owned by pets at Home.

  We been using this vet for the last 40 years plus With different dogs. Yes ther have been time's when we said "how much " but when I hear the horror stories from others dog owners It goes to say we know we always had good welfare for our pet at a price we were happy to pay

  Our beloved elderly cat Daisy had to be put to sleep today. I couldn't have wished for a more caring, empathetic vet as Mr Strachan. He made coming to terms with the passing of our precious little girl that much more bearable. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts your a very special man and we can't thank you enough.

  After having treatment with another of our dogs recently it’s highlighted how chronically horrific strachans are. Their decent vets left years ago, been met with nothing but incompetence last year & it’s scary to compare the service we have received the last few weeks from another vets in such a vast way. Avoid I’m sure there will be lots of “positive” reviews will appear directly after this one there’s a theme when a negative review is published …
