Recently visited this surgery with our 3yr old Doberman-cross, Ruby, for a laparoscopic spay. From start to finish, we couldn't have asked for a better experience - the staff took great care of Ruby and spent time with us beforehand ensuring our understanding. Follow-up both immediately after the surgery and over the next few days was exactly what we had been told to expect. In addition, special thanks to Suzy and Holly for taking the time to talk us through the plans and the follow-up. Amazing people and highly recommend!

We had our female dog in for a laparoscopic spay. I think the care she received was good and professional, but I didn't like that they repeatedly tried to overcharge us for it. Our laparoscopic spay unfortunately went wrong and became a regular spay with a longer recovery time. I absolutely understand that we'd still be charged the price of a laparoscopic spay. However, our dog was weighing LESS than 10kg which at admission and we got the bill for a laparoscopic spay of a dog OVER 10kg. It's quite a significant price difference. We had to point out that billing error 3 times and eventually the price was adjusted accordingly. However it took ages to sort out. Meanwhile we heard our poor distressed dog barking all the time after being out of anaesthesia. It felt really wrong to try and overcharge us repeatedly while the poor dog was suffering. EDIT after reading the review, the surgery reached out to me offering a partial refund because of my experience, and after talking this through, it genuinely felt like the staff cared about our experience. I really appreciate that they cared and also the significant refund.

Excellent vets , we were in the area for a few months as we live on a narrow boat, they took excellent care of our English bulldog puppy when he had cherry eye and were equally helpful when we needed a private prescription to order meds online, I'm almost sad to be moving away

I cannot praise this clinic enough. From the moment I called, they were incredible, getting me an appointment within just 1 or 2 hours. In a single day, they managed to see and treat all three of my cats, taking them in three separate times to ensure they were all cared for. Their speed in handling emergency situations is unmatched. From the receptionists to the doctors, the entire team is professional, kind, and amazing. While I am aware they are the most expensive in Tring, their prices are still very reasonable for the level of care provided. It is a private company, not a franchise, and you can truly feel the difference in the honesty and respect they show both the animals and the owners. I am beyond grateful for their help during a very stressful time. They are well-respected for a reason. Highly recommend.

Have recently moved to this vet practice as our dog was soooo stressed at the last place, and very impressed. Saw Vicky and she was very good, putting him at ease instantly and he even trotted off with her happily for a minor treatment. Feels like an old school vets, where the animals rather than profits for shareholders come first as this is an independent vets. Would recommend.
