I had cerys come out to see my pony who was kicked. On both visits Certs was patient, understanding and non-jugemental. On the second visit my pony unfortunately was PTS. Cerys stayed throughout the entire process was incredibly sympathetic and supportive. She even sent me a card which was so special. I cannot thank her enough, she is a credit to the SWEV team and they should be honoured to have her there. The nurse who was there for the second visit was also great, I didn't catch her name though.

Absolute joke of a practice! They say they have a duty of care and yet allowed my horse to thrash around for hours before they could see him! They pick and choose what they want to keep recorded on their records. The manager Ryan refuses to talk to customers even though we were told to call back to talk to him personally! For him to decline because they have closed my account (for no valid reason) they will tell you that you owe money even if you have receipts to prove you’ve paid. I have been made to go round in circles to be told I cannot have an account anymore! I’ve spoken to a lot of people who used to be customers and they’ve all left to go with another vet as the south wales vets (used to be known and b&w) is that shocking. The only vet to have explained anything rightly on all the years I’ve been there is Duncan and even he quit. They have no consideration for any of their patients, horse and human absolutely disgusting the way I’ve been treated and many other customers by the looks of it. Quick enough to take the money and get not quick enough to record it! I’ve had so many issues with this company to the point I want nothing more to do with them and will be finding another vet. (Health plan is also rubbish, you can add horses and then you get emails to say horses have been taken off (without my say so) even though I’ve paid for them to be on the health plan. Worst bet practice I’ve ever known … problem after problem every time they are called

Cerys came out as my mare had gone down She helped us try and get her up but sadly we were unable to and had to put her to sleep. Cerys stayed with us and was very compassionate. I will be forever grateful for her help and her compassion that she had for both the horse and us. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend the vets at South Wales Equine. All have been extremely helpful, thorough and kind with my 3 horses. Hannah has helped me a lot with my mare and always checks in on her whenever we speak which is a really nice extra to have ❤️

Duncan and Lucinda came out for my older horse who was losing weight - thorough examination found he had 2 broken teeth which they have made comfortable for him. Couldn’t fault them - knowledgeable about dentistry and very practical and helpful
