  PARKSIDE VETS ARBROATH HOW DARE YOUR STAFF TREAT ANY CLIENT LIKE THIS. This morning a young lady arrived already in a vulnerable mental state to your practice. Instead of compassion, she was belittled, spoken to with contempt, and refused exit without agreed payment being made - all in front of other customers. This was completely unacceptable. The incident was caused by your practice’s error (YOUR STAFF MEMBER) . You were told there was an email in your inbox confirming payment arrangements. You chose to say there wasn’t, and failed to check before speaking to her. Had you checked first, you would have been prepared and this would not have happened. To treat ANY client that way is disgusting. To treat someone who has been through the unimaginable, in front of other customers, shows zero empathy or compassion. It made her feel small and knocked her confidence once again. The impression given was that it was “all about money” - money that had already been arranged. Your staff should be ashamed. This does nothing for your reputation. THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO! 1. A written apology to her 2. Assurance that staff will be retrained in handling vulnerable clients with dignity + confidentiality ESPECIALLY the staff member this morning! 3. Confirmation that this complaint will be recorded and addressed

  Very busy today as a sivk animal emergency we were allowed to wait in cat room which was so less stressful service was then complete and vet was lovely

  I cannot recommend Parkside enough, my dog Freddie is super scared of the vets. The nurses, doctors and receptionist are such lovely people and always make us feel at ease. They always have the best interest of Freddie and are always so kind and understandable.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brought my pet in for a booster yesterday and had such a great experience! The staff were kind, the vet Johanna was gentle and welcoming and everything was quick and easy. Dakota was happy to be here which makes a vet visit so much easier when they love their vet. Thank you Johanna and staff. Xx
