  A big thank you to all the team at Ashbourne Orthopaedic Vets. They did a fantastic job on our bully Atlas who is back to his usual boisterous self. I can not rate them highly enough. They were thoroughly professional and caring and the surgery was a total success. Great communication in person and on the phone. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

  My dog had a traumatic ACL accident in April. I’d been through it before with a previous dog and the experience at a different vet practice wasn’t great and was very stressful for the dog and the family. So my vet recommended that I go to Orthopaedic Vets in Ashbourne. What a difference, they were super considerate of the stress I had been through with the other dog and vet so were very reassuring and supportive at each step. From booking the surgery to the pre surgery info (they were super accommodating on the day as I had travelled 2 hours. ) through the surgery and aftercare. They made sure I was updated throughout the day, and the surgery was a huge success. They asked for videos through the first few days and I followed all the advice and when we came back 8 weeks later as instructed and I’m pleased to say Karl gave her a full bill of health and she should be good to run off lead in the next 4 weeks which we are so pleased with. The main things were they were very calming, considerate and supportive to my dog and us, open to any questions at anytime. The cost was also not as expensive as the last vet I had used where the bills went on an on… one cost for the full service and no hidden extras so we knew exactly where we were. For anyone who is anxious about their animals care and the cost, Orthopaedic Vets in Ashbourne were excellent and I’d highly recommend them . All the staff were lovely as well.   Would like to say a massive thanks to Karl and his team for doing an excellent job with my puppy Cookie. The service and friendliness of everyone there was amazing. The cups of tea went down a treat as we travelled an hour each time. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has to have their pet treated. We will be seeing you again soon for Cookies second operation.

  Our beagle, Nancy had TPLO surgery and from the initial phone call to the discharge appointment, everything was brilliant. The front of house staff were helpful, welcoming and accommodating - even making us coffee after our early start and journey to get Nancy to the surgery by 8am for her surgery. Karl was wonderful and explained everything to us before the operation. He also requested fortnightly videos afterwards to monitor Nancy's progress. We felt very supported throughout her recovery and we are delighted that she is now back to her old self. Thank you to everyone at Orthopaedic Vet, Ashbourne.

  Where do I start. My little Fred broke his leg. From start to finish off his treatment has been fantastic. Everything was explained. No hidden costs and no extortionate prices. Very professional would recommend to anyone. Karl was his surgeon and the ladies on reception are the best. 5 stars all round.
