Even if I could leave a review everyday, it would still not be enough to explain how amazing Sophie and the team are at Origin Vet Clinic. I was referred to Sophie a few years back as my bunny Merlin was constantly in and out of gut-statis episodes. Despite taking Merlin to an exotic veterinary hospital, everyone failed to help Merlin. But, within 10 minutes of an appointment with Sophie, she figured out the issue with Merlin by simply looking at past reports, x rays, and carefully listening to my concerns. She is incredibly talented and compassionate and if it was not for her, I would have lost Merlin a long time ago. Because of Sophie, I felt comfortable enough to adopt more rabbits because I knew they would be well taken care of by her. Over the last few years, everyone at Origin has gone above and beyond for my bunnies and I will forever be indebted to them (past and present staff) all for all the love and care they provided. I cannot recommend anyone better than Sophie, she is truly the best exotic vet I have ever met.

We took our precious rabbit to a well-known chain of vets who said there wasn’t much they could do for him. We’re glad we didn’t listen and found Sophie and the team at Origin vets. They were immediately so helpful and positive, immediately knowing what to do. The treatment and care provided has always been positive, knowledgeable and dedicated and our rabbit is continuing to be a loved and happy family member x

I have used Origins often over the last few years, first with my Malaysian Box Turtle and more recently with six bunnies. Five buns were spayed/neutered there (David is soon to be the sixth!) and with the laser treatment and other care of the vets and team, they all recovered very quickly. Recently I took my bunnies Hazel and David for gut stasis and all the team from Rosanna on reception, the nurses (especially Liz) and Sophie and Jenny have been wonderful and so supportive. Jenny and Sophie have followed up with phone calls with loads of advice and support on diet and bonding. All the team are kind and really treat your pets like they are their own. I especially love how much they love rabbits and hearing about Jenny’s own bunnies reassures me that mine are in good hands! Sophie and Liz have taken a lot of time recently to look after David when he developed stasis from eating a paper ball, including allowing an emergency appointment late in the evening. I’ve often recommended Origins for people with reptiles and small furries.

We are so glad to have found Sophie and staff! She is a breath of fresh air and really cares for her patients and owners. We had to look around for a new vet due the constant price increases by our old vets, we have Sophie’s services before for our Parrot and so took our cats there too. Have not looked back since. Everything about the experience of a visit is lovely and you definitely get a good amount of time, she also likes to get to know our girls, just enforces to us that Sophie and team really do love small animals
