If you are looking for a veterinary practice in Shepshed that offers genuine warmth and personal connection, I cannot recommend this team highly enough. This is an exceptionally good practice, and our recent experience with them has stayed with us deeply. We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved Isabel. In such a difficult time, the team gave her the best, most relaxed care we could have possibly asked for. Because this is a smaller practice, you don't feel like just a number; there is a sense of intimacy and community here that is rare to find. The compassion shown by everyone, including the receptionist, was profound—it made the whole ending feel special, dignified, and supported. The vet we saw was, without doubt, the best we have ever had. She did not rush us in the slightest. She gave us ample time to say our goodbyes, the opportunity to reassure Isabel, and the quiet space to kiss her one final time as she left her body and her energy and spirit transferred into the universe. It was a spiritual and peaceful transition, handled with such grace. We were also incredibly grateful that the vet allowed Isabel’s sister to be there in the room with us. It was so important for her to have that closure—to say goodbye to the sister who has kept her in check, who has protected her, and the sister she has chased playfully for so long. We were all given the space to feel vulnerable, to cry, and to just be in that moment, comforted entirely by the staff. As a final act of kindness, the vet took a print of Isabel's paw for us, ensuring we have another physical memory to hold onto forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone who loves their animals like family. They turned a devastating day into a memory filled with love and kindness.
