  Very nice veterinary nurse but was a little taken back with the price. Very expensive for check up booster injections. I'll have to win the lottery for next year

  Excellent, honest care. I brought my French Bulldog in with sore, smelly ears and requested cleaning and lab swabs. The vet was transparent and, recognising a chronic condition, advised swabs weren’t necessary, avoiding unnecessary cost. As I choose to self-fund her care, this was particularly important to me. She was safely sedated, treated, and very well cared for. Both the vet and nurse were professional, kind, and reassuring throughout. Highly recommend.

  My little dog recently underwent dental treatment at the surgery, everything was explained to me beforehand and all questions were answered in detail. I was phoned when he was in the recovery process and reassured that everything went well. When I went to pick him up Gemma explained what medication had been prescribed and booked an appointment for his checkup the following week. After being very worried about what would happen everything went smoothly and my dogs treatment was successful. Thank you to all involved in looking after him.

  I can’t fault Medivet Newton. We’ve been bringing our cat here for over 4 years now for his yearly check up and vaccinations and the experience is always very smooth and painless. Unfortunately our cat can’t stand being in his carrier and makes quite the racket, despite this both the Vet and reception staff have always approached the situation in a sympathetic, caring and professional manner. On our most recent our cat was so distressed he urinated in his carrier on the journey over. The Vet who I saw that day could not have been more kind, helping me clean him up and giving me 2 free “puppy pads” for the journey home. The annual check up is a dreaded task in our house, but the excellent staff at Medivet Newton always ensure the process is about as painless as you could hope for!
