Very poor vet. Spent thousands over the years and I absolutely believe profit is their priority over standard of service. Only 1 vet out of 6 ever explained any costs during the appointment, most just go ahead and then you find out the price at the reception. We had multiple conditions undiagnosed after thousands spent. They also made so many mistakes with billing, always in their favour (charging us double the quoted price ‘accidentally’) I have waited 6 months to leave this review until we settle at a new vet and make sure we’re not the problem. However since moving I’ve been delighted with our service and transparency from the new team. Really gutted we spent so long with Mackie & Brechin.

Fabulous veterinary practice. Lovely reception staff and the vets are so very nice too. They made the saying goodbye to Jamie so much easier. We also received a lovely card in the post addressed to the family. How very thoughtful.

Such a great team of people. The receptionists are always so friendly and are great with our dog. I called for advice on an upset stomach this morning, I was a bit concerned that I would be wasting their time but the team could not have been more helpful in getting us an appointment before they closed for the weekend. Michael was absolutely fantastic with our dog, explained everything very well and really put our mind at ease.
