Brilliant vet! Saved my dog’s eyesight and cat’s life! Sadly the dog has crossed the rainbow bridge, and is running free now in the land of forever free hunting grounds, as they say in my culture. Today I’ve had a great experience again! I’m neurodivergent and Matthew was super helpful and kind, as usual, and I want to express my uttermost gratitude to the whole team! Seasonal greetings to you all!

Read on Google →Nearly killed my dog with misdiagnosis! We took our dog, Bailey, here for years, and they have been absolutely useless. Bailey was suffering from heart failure (we had never been told this), and one of the key signs was a persistent cough. We raised our concerns with the vets, but the vet told us it was likely due to a collapsed trachea. They prescribed Metacam, which masked the symptoms and ultimately made his condition much worse. Our poor dog was suffering, and we had no idea until he was admitted to their emergency vets, struggling to breathe due to fluid building up on his lungs. He nearly died. When I confronted the vets about this, they tried to lie and claim they had warned us. I requested the consultation notes for all of our appointments, and it was clear that no such warnings had ever been documented. When challenged, they said it was “from recollection.” Bailey’s treatment while under their care was disturbing. A staple was incorrectly placed in his face, and they struggled to remove it. Instead of dealing with our complaint properly, the vet passed us onto their indemnity insurers, who were just as unhelpful. I’ll be lodging a formal complaint with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The people responsible for Bailey’s care should be struck off. For anyone who loves their pet, I strongly recommend you do not use this practice. They are overpriced, unprofessional, and provide poor-quality care.
Read on Google →We had a last minute appointment for our cat Daisy today and from the moment we arrived, the entire experience was exceptional. Dr Lauren Ward was absolutely amazing. She took her time, explained everything with clarity and kindness, and made us feel completely reassured. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out. Most importantly, she was so gentle and sweet with Daisy. She made her feel calm, safe and truly cared for, which meant the world to us. It’s rare to come across someone who is both highly knowledgeable and so genuinely compassionate. Although this was meant to be a one-off emergency visit, I have decided to move Daisy’s care to this practice. We left feeling so relieved and supported, and couldn’t be happier with the care we received. Thank you to Dr Ward and the lovely team at reception. You’ve made such a difference to us and our Daisy. 🐈❤️
Read on Google →It was my first time at this vet, I was super nervous and stressed for my little cat, she hates the vets. The vet at the time was super friendly, and you could tell he was so knowledgeable, treated her with so much love, respect and patience, it was heartwarming to watch, especially as my cat decided to attack him. He reassured me, and made me feel ok. (I’m still very sorry about her I hope he’s ok). He was nothing but sweet and soft spoken about her. I deeply appreciate it. The people at reception were also super friendly and kind, I felt more relaxed entering the area, and it was also very clean. It didn’t smell like animals or anything ( which to be fair is expected as animals are always at the vets ). It had a lovely little area for cats to relax and chill which I let my cat take a breather there and they had a free little cat spray which I could use to put of the carrier to make her feel more calm. Definitely recommend this vet :) she’s super shocked about how well it went too
