Highly recommend. I was struggling to find a good vet locally. Then someone told me about lincs vets. They have been amazing. Expert. Kind to my dogs when visiting and have gone out of their way to diagnose and sort a problem that other vets were struggling with and charging me a fortune without giving answers. It was the opposite here. Totally trust them them now as they've treated 2 of my dogs and both are well. Thank you for being such a good service.
Read on Google →Vet was very professional, however the receptionist was quite blunt and sarcastic saying i looked like i didnt realise I had to pay! Found this very insulting as im not an idiot! Really needs to sharpen up her people skills ! Very unprofessional and dont feel comfortable going back, avoid if I were you as the receptionists are very rude ( also another one who worked there said nothing and just stared, made me feel so unwelcome especially since it was 48 quid just to say my dog is OK and doesn't need treatment! Not happy !
Read on Google →Staff attitude excellent; helpful, friendly and understanding. One of the few Vets willing to do home visits. I was short 4 tablets from a course prescribed for my dog, regretfully( being housebound) I was unable to collect. I anticipated they would be posted, but to my amazement a veterinary nurse delivered them after work the same day - talk about going the extra mile'! With advancing age and declining health, it is gratifying to have the care and support of this dedicated veterinary practice.
Read on Google →Please don’t take your sick pet to this vet under any circumstances whatsoever. We took our cat to them a week ago and from the onset it was apparent that they didnt know what they were doing Our cat presented with vomiting but it was only over the course of a week — he was fine before that. The first vet said rhey felt a palpable mass in the abdomen but treated with anti sickness as not sure whether it was constipation. Took him home and he was fine for 3 days. Took him back for a follow up appointment with a nurse to see how he was getting on? But this appointment quickly turned into another vet consult, a broken heart and a bill as long as your arm. The vet, jeff, was arrogant and rude and diagnosed our cat with cancer just by feeling his abdomen — when he informed us it was cancer he had a horrible smug smile on his face and didn’t care one iota for floods of tears that followed. The vet nurse rudely asked if we can afford a xray? No shit we can if youre telling us that our cats dying, what else are we to do! Money was very much on their mind and it went from a £150 extra to a bill of £270 and we have no idea why, other than 4 anti sickness pills and a £6 bottle of liquid vitamins. We were not told what we do next, the vet wasn’t prepared to investigate further and implied that exploration could cause more harm and that the beat thing would be to put him to sleep. Our cat had intermittent vomitting for a week and weight loss but was still his usual self. The vet implied we were taking all day goijg back and forth with what ifs and told me to go for a second opinion as we evidently didnt believe his diagnosis Please tell me why any pet owner would believe a diagnosis of cancer based on the feel of a mass in the stomach and next to no other investigation alp bar an xray that showed a mass / obstruction We were not told what to feed our cat, don’t know what to do for the best, and the vet is £400 better off from our two appointments and we are left with broken hearts and no real answers. There was no compassion, Jeff is arrogant, his nurse wasn’t much better when she asked whether we can afford the tests and when I phoned up to complain this morning the receptionist told us to put it in writing — when we expressed our disgust, she hung up! We did research online last night to discover that hardened hairballs present with the exact symptoms as stomach cancer and that many cat owners put their pets to sleep without proper diagnosis Please don’t use this vets — for your own piece of mind as well as your pet. The vet was aggressive with our cat, dragging him round the table to give injections and watched as he slipped off the table and fell into the chairs — this is a cat that’s alleged to have cancer and you’re treating him and his owners like you did? Absolutely horrendous. They made no recommendations on what we do other than imply he’s best off dead and they’re basis the diagnosis on an xray when ultrasounds are typically used to diagnose tumours, and didn’t ask to take bloods nor offer ultrasound or needle aspiration. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Theyre VILE! And only care about money whilst you are standing there absolutely heartbroken I only used lines vets because my usual one was closed at the time of needing an appointment — biggest mistake ever! Take note of the bad reviews because we are all having the same experiences here and the stories are quite similiar
