  I would not recommend this veterinary practice based on my experience. My dog’s mouth was bleeding heavily, so I booked an appointment on Monday. We saw Robyn Smith, who said it was likely a dental problem, prescribed antibiotics, and told us to come back the following Monday. I don’t feel a thorough examination of his mouth was carried out, and blood tests or scans were not offered. When my dog didn’t improve, I went back on Wednesday for a second opinion with a different vet. Sadly, I was told his mouth was covered in cancerous tumours and the kindest option was to put him to sleep that day. I was also told that if we’d waited until Monday, his airway could have closed. This has been heartbreaking. I believe that if a full examination had been carried out at the first appointment, his condition may have been identified sooner and he could have been spared unnecessary pain. While I appreciate the care from the second vet, I was extremely disappointed with the initial treatment and would not recommend this practice.

  I honestly can’t thank the team at PDSA Vet Hospital in Leeds enough. The vet nurses and staff are absolutely incredible and deserve so much more recognition for everything they do. I was really anxious about taking my dog because she is reactive. From our very first visit, every single member of staff has gone above and beyond to make both of us feel comfortable. They never made me feel judged and they always handled my dog with so much patience, kindness and understanding. They genuinely put me at ease every time we visited. My dog recently had to undergo spaying surgery, and I was so nervous beforehand, especially after reading some negative reviews online. I was honestly in two minds about going ahead with the operation because of what I’d read. Looking back now, I’m so glad I trusted them. The care she received was outstanding, and I was genuinely blown away by how quickly she recovered. I’ve now visited the hospital around six times, and every single appointment has reinforced just how dedicated this team is. They always take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and do everything they can to help. I know every pet and every situation is different, but based on my own experience, I honestly couldn’t fault this team one bit. They work incredibly hard under what I can only imagine are very challenging circumstances, yet they continue to provide exceptional care.

  Unfortunately I had to put my cat down there yesterday (yes I'm still crying) . She was elderly. The staff there are so considerate and empathetic and wonderful. I was allowed sometime with her before they took her away. The only thing I've got a problem with is the way people talk to the staff there. I think they should have security. No one and I mean no one deserves to be spoke to like that because they haven't been brought up correctly ( the mother was just as bad!). The staff handled a situation extremely well and with dignity considering the lowlife that was shouting at them at the time was obviously unhinged in some way. The guy on the desk kept his cool considering he was being shouted at for absolutely no reason, it was just word vomit exiting the toothless mouth Infront of him, So I just want to say I hope you are okay! And I apologise on behalf of that lemon. So even though my experience was sad, I think the staff are exceptional. They care and keep their cool in the hardest of moments and I hope they recognise how professional and heartwarming it is.

  I would like to personally thank all staff members at PDSA Leeds for their amazing service when treating my dog Bear who under went 3 surgeries recently and a number of after care appointments. I would like to personally thank Will (CSM) who always went out of his way to ensure not only Bear, but also myself were doing Okay throughout such a stressful period. He would always ask how I am doing and is genuinely a caring and personable guy. Adele the Vet who went out of her way to ensure Bears initial operation went ahead and to ensure it was done as quickly as possible. She has such a loving approach and was so understanding around the circumstances myself and Bear was in. I would also like to thank the other vet who completed Bears operations and has followed Bears story right to the end to which Bear is now nearly fully healed. She really cares about the animals she meets and always wants to ensure the correct route of treatment with the best possible outcome is always achieved. Apologies I haven't taken down her name. Also to Kathy, Flo and Danielle RVN's for being absolute angels, Bear is always so trusting of you when you were tending to her wound because of your caring and friendly nature's, from going that extra mile and giving her hair a trim and her nails and ears to providing additional medical supplies to keep Bear comfortable at home. You really put me at ease when coming along to appointments with Bear. Always trying to make things as easy for me as possible arranging appointments around childcare and school runs. Thank you also to the reception staff and pharmacy who always greeted me with friendliness and respect, whether it be on the phone or face to face. I really can't put into words how grateful I am for everyone's support at Leeds, you are all so very busy, PDSA felt like my second home at times, but your team really do make what is a stressful time, more bearable. Thank you so much !!

  The staff have been amazing over the years that we have been going to this veterinary hospital... Ample parking included disabled parking. Easy access, clean and tidy inside and out.. Friendly staff who are willing to help.. sorry to see some clientele not happy about the policy and process to be seen.. it's not the front desks fault.. Always had a long wait but that's to be expected with the amount of people and pets attending 🙄 The vets have always been very informative and precise when explaining information, prescriptions and procedures.. Thank you for all the team for helping with Tasha...
