This place needs to be investigated and shut down, my dog was fighting for his life and they didn’t even care to ask me for any other other symptoms he had, all they cared about is money, couldn’t offer payment plans and genuinely gave no emotion while my pet was actively dying in that very moment, due to this I then had to find an emergency vet (which were amazing) but since we had to travel an hour away and no other emergency vets were open this was too much for my poor boy and he passed away shortly after we arrived if he had been treated earlier we was told he would have made it. We had another pet of ours come here and was told his heart was fine, a week later we went to another vet as something was just not right and we was told he has heart failure. The receptionist also talks to you in an aggressive tone and tries to intimidate you, this is not a place that should have people like that working here it’s awful.

I attended PDSA Gillingham yesterday, 20th January, 2026 as my cat, Kit wasn't very well. Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep. I just want to thank the staff for being professional, explaining everything that was going to happen. For being kind and sympathetic not only to Kit but to myself also as I was very upset.

Pdsa Gillingham is very good , However the unprofessional rude intimidating receptionist with the pink ridiculous hair should not be working there she is letting the hospital down, she’s so rude and has no empathy what’s so ever ! No manners, and speaks down to you I left absolutely heartbroken. The vet and nursers are amazing and am great full for your help but that women in reception has failed .

Amazing stuff and lovely vets kind supportive. I have brought my dear cat just before Christmas sadly he wasn’t well and I had the worse news ever . The stuff was amazing and together with my family they help us say goodbye and get my pet as comfortable as possible in his final hour . Couldn’t thank you all at Gillingham enough… I have asked for my pet paw print and his fur cut and I got it send with the most kind message to be honest I thought they have forgotten but being Christmas and all I did get it eventually and I was very touch and thankful. Once again massive thank you to you all 😘

I cannot thank the pdsa enough.. On the 16th September my son and I had an emergency appointment for my 14 year old Black labradoor,he was really suffering with his Athritus and got to the stage where his back legs were collapsing and messing himself without knowing.. We were devastated, the kind words and professional nature from a lovely young vet(sorry didn't know her name)helped us make the decision to put our dear lucas to sleep, she gave us time with him and we didn't leave his side until he passed.. Thank you so much for your kindness..
