Fyrnwy Equine Group

Fyrnwy Equine Group, established in 1978, provides professional and compassionate care for horses across Shropshire, North Wales, and Cheshire. The practice operates from two sites in Baschurch and Wrexham, offering a comprehensive range of surgical, medical, diagnostic, and ambulatory services. The practice is RCVS accredited and is committed to clinical excellence, serving all types of horses from elite competition animals to beloved pets. The team comprises 18 veterinary surgeons, including specialist Diploma holders and European specialists in equine medicine and surgery, supported by 11 nursing and administrative staff. They are also a registered veterinary nurse training practice. Fyrnwy Equine Group partners with the University of Surrey School of Veterinary Medicine for equine rotations for final year students and offers internship training programmes for recent graduates. The practice emphasises ongoing professional development, with several vets involved in national and international postgraduate education.

  I would like every one to know that joe who works for this practice is the most committed caring genuine vet i have ever meet in the 40 odd years i have owned horses, his care of my pony lulu was second to none and i would not have coped with out his encouragement and support if i had a medal joe would get it , thank you wrexham equine care for employing such a wonderful person i could not thank you enough regards jacqueline davies keep up the good work x
