I want to say how lovely Dan the vet and all the nurses and staff members are at this practice after recently looking after my kitten Teddy. He was very poorly and they went above and beyond to help him. Thank you for the empathy shown and the care you’ve given, I am so so grateful.
Read on Google →Shocked and disgusted Pretty disgusted with the practice, stating that they’re specialists in canine fertility and always the dogs welfare in mind. Yet I was pushed to bring my mid birthing first time expectant mum into the surgery. I was concerned for her, that it had been 2.5 hours between having had 2 pups and expecting another and was seeking advice more than anything being that it was mine and her first time doing this. Not once was I asked about details and whether she was distressed at all. They wanted me to scoop her and 2 new borns up and bundle them in my car and bring to the surgery 6 miles up the road!? How is that in support of any of their welfare!! They were just focused on the money. I’m please I took the decision to wait a little longer, as 15 mins later out popped the other puppy perfect and unstressed at my home.
Read on Google →I’ve gone to this vets a few times over the past 4 years and it’s amazing. My local vets has become exceedingly expensive, wanting to charge me over £1100 for an one X-ray (which when added with the cost of the possible surgery price, pain meds, check up fee’s and insurance excess to cover was very steep); so I went to Essex vets for a second opinion and better price as recommended to me by a friend. I was quoted less than half the price at Essex vets than my local, which means that not only could I get my dog the investigations but also the treatment he needed (TPLO surgery- which was done by an orthopaedic vet surgeon). All the staff are friendly, accommodating and patient (even with my very nervous dog who can be a handful when frightened), making me feel happy to leave him in their hands. The receptionists are very approachable and helpful making booking in and sorting my insurance a breeze. The nurses and vet are very kind, caring and professional and I knew that I could trust them with my fur baby. My pooch is now 9 days post surgery and recovering very well. The vet saw me very quickly 5 days post op, when I contacted them with a concern of his upset stomach from his post op meds (not surprising as my dog gets an upset stomach from almost everything) and adjusted his medication accordingly. I will definitely be taking him back in the future for any and all investigations/ treatments he may need.
Read on Google →Essex vets have been absolutely fantastic with my three cats especially one cat that had been very poorly lately. Dan the vet was very knowledgeable and discussed her treatment in great lengths. The receptionist Amber made such a fuss of her and help me book my future appointment. Danielle the nurse went through all things insurance with me and was so kind and helpful. Thank you Essex Vets for all you.
