My dog was having problems with his anal glands and took him here last Friday; the vet expressed his anal glands right in front of me with my dog Jack in a very distressed state. Vet suggested tablets for aftercare which I told her there was no way I could get tablets into him but she still prescribed them anyway. As a result I had to return the next day for an injection. On the first appointment the vet told me I should bring him back for a check up on Wednesday. My appointment was for 2.30 and Jack was extremely anxious, shaking and panting with his tongue hanging out. The vet that was seeing him sat chatting to a customer who had just called in for 20mins or more when Jack was there in front of him in this state! Jack wasn't seen to until 3oclock, half an hour late! The vet brought us into the room and seem to have no idea what the appointment was for and kept saying his computer was not working. I found all of this totally inadequate and he seemed to have no feeling for the state my dog was in at all! The conclusion was that my dog may have an abcess and to give him the loxicom I was originally prescribed. The final straw was when I was asked for a further £25, I understood when the original vet saw Jack that this was simply a check up after the procedure and never imagined there would be further charges!! Not a happy customer to say the least!

Excellent vets. We have brought out last 6 cats here and they are always given such incredible care. Whether our animals have cancer or just getting their nails clipped. They offer a home-visit service for when our pets had reached the time and needed to go peacefully. This helped immensely at reducing the stress of sick and elderly cats. They have even helped with wildlife we brought in, that was injured. All the vets are thoughtful and attentive, listening carefully. The reception staff are friendly and polite. We have nothing but good things to say.
