The best! We’ve been with Creature Comforts in St Albans for a few months now and can honestly say that everyone in the team, from the nurses, to the lovely ladies at reception and the vets are all fantastic. They provide such amazing care, not only to our pup but also us! Our dog has now had a couple procedures there and each time they were amazing - everything was explained in detail, we never felt rushed or pressured into anything and we were completely at ease knowing that he was in the best hands! Thank you for the great service! Highly recommend!!

I am extremely happy with the care my dog has received at Creature Comforts in St. Albans. Heather has been excellent in understanding and treating my dog’s issues. Even though it’s still early days in the management plan she recommended, I have already seen a noticeable improvement, which is very reassuring. Heather has been kind, thorough, and genuinely caring, she even took the time to follow up with a phone call to check on my dog’s progress, which I really appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Creature Comforts.

Used Creature Comfort Vets in St Albans as our Mini Schnauzer needed major teeth extraction and we hadn’t had a great experience recently with our usual vets. Charlotte and her team were brilliant. The whole experience was so different. Everyone was so friendly, the premises are really attractive and spotlessly clean. I was given a tour of the operating area, where she would recover and best of all a full explanation of what was going to happen. Nothing felt rushed. Throughout the procedure I was sent photos and updates by text and again, once finished the team gave a thorough explanation of the post operation procedure. It was all reassuring especially knowing that I could call at any time if I was worried or had a problem. Is this the cheapest vets?- probably not , but I honestly think that it was worth paying the little bit extra for the quality of care and experience we had. I would definitely recommend them and would definitely use this branch again.

If you want your vets experience to feel warm, inviting and friendly then this is the vets to go for! Firstly, the staff are amazing. The lady on the desk is always so welcoming and makes such a fuss of your pets. We've seen a few different vets here at Creature Comforts and ALL of them give you so much information, advice and genuinely care for your pets. The vet showed me around the whole surgery on my first visit which is a lovely touch so you know where your pets may be if they needed to stay over or have any surgeries, X-rays etc. They stressed to us we can book in whenever as they also want our dogs to have a good association with the vets, so if/when they need to come in for bigger situations they'll feel more reassured and safe. Also recently, we needed to take one of my puppies to the vets as an emergency, and they made time for us within 10 minutes to see the nurse and offered us an appointment with the vet if needed, but I felt so reassured and safe with the nurse I luckily didn't feel the need for the vet appointment. They truly go above and beyond for you and always make you feel heard, understood and listened to! We pay £20 a month for both our dogs memberships and the worming treatments monthly and it really is worth every penny. I also feel more organised since being at Creature Comforts. We get routine injections for free, unlimited consultations and through the app and we have a chat service free of charge, the app is also very straightforward to use. We can book appointments through it and cancel them up to 24 hours prior. If you're struggling to choose a vets, please take them here, you won't regret it. I took my dog to another vets in St Albans and found it to be a cold experience and unfriendly. So this is definitely the vets to go for!! Angus and Marlowe get treated with so much love and care!

I was lucky enough to know one of the vets at Creature Comforts (Hadi) from the gym I work in. Thankfully, when talking to Hadi one Saturday morning I mentioned that my dog had managed to slice open her paw. He asked my son to take a picture and he advised me that she needed to be seen by a vet, which is when he told me about Creature Comforts Vets. I hadn’t heard of them before then but my goodness I am so pleased that I do now!! My Sprocker Spaniel used to pull back and her paws would sweat so much when I took her to the vets, it was awful. However, since going to Creature Comforts she literally walks in wagging her tail and saying hello to everyone! She’s a changed dog. All the staff are friendly, supportive and have a real sense of making the animals happy in the environment. Added bonuses are treats and balls for the dogs and the offer of a cuppa for us humans!! Definitely recommend this practice!!!
