We moved to Coomara Vets after a very difficult experience elsewhere which resulted in our old golden retriever having to have a second operation due to the vets forgetting to do part of her surgery, and I can’t express how grateful we are to have found them. Our puppy Nala was born missing half of her back leg. As there was still a lot of the leg remaining this caused her leg to drag and eventually form a painful sore. Coomara Vets took the time to understand her situation fully and recommended removing the remainder of the leg to give her the best quality of life. From the very first appointment, they have been incredibly kind, compassionate, and thorough. They treated Nala with such care, and they supported us every step of the way. Her surgery went beautifully and her leg has healed so well she’s now thriving and full of joy. We honestly couldn’t recommend Coomara Vets highly enough. They have made such a positive difference to Nala’s life.

Read on Google →Without doubt the best most caring vets in Carlisle. We took our dog Bailey in for a Welfare Groom as the poor little boy has a few issues from his past and they were absolutely brilliant. Bailey was so relaxed with them and the whole team were absolutely brilliant and Laura who groomed him did a fantastic job. Thank you very much. We would recommend these Vets 100 percent. We have been with them for years with all our dogs and never had any complaints ☺️
Read on Google →By far the best vets I have ever used. They have been great with my Anatolian shepherd Acca. Shes very large and can be intimidating but shes taken to the vets very well. I've always been able to get home visits as it suits Acca better. Often next day appointments too. All staff are really friendly and have taken control of insurance claims so I don't need to sort anything out. Brilliant vets practice!
