We have recently moved in the area and this was my first visit with Ruby. She needed an allergy injection and I was able to take her 40 minutes after phoning them. Everyone from the receptionists to the other staff was so friendly and welcoming. The vet I saw took her time to check Ruby over, gave her lots of fuss and then gave her the injection. Thank you so much for making her visit stress free.

This is a very difficult review to post but I wouldn’t want others to have the same experience as me. I had taken my dog to Connaught House Vets for several years and had always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. This was my first dog so I had no point of reference for any other vet services so I thought it was good. I had taken my dog on many occasions with blood in the stools over a few months. I was told time and again that this was a tummy upset or something she had eaten. I accepted this as I believed the vets to be the experts. I moved house and so changed vets. On the first visit to the new vets (only a couple of weeks after the last visit to Connaught) the new vet identified a mass in my dogs bowel and immediately took a biopsy. This turned out to be cancer and my dog died a couple of months later. I did all I could to save her with an operation and other treatments but it was too late. Utterly heartbreaking and she was only quite young. If only I had changed vets sooner or if only the vets at Conaughts had been more thorough.

Fantastic caring practice. Great staff Our Norman received the best care throughout his life starting as a rescue dog until he sadly passed away yesterday with love, care and dignity with his favourite vet, Marta. I'm sure his lively personality will be missed, even in the vets whilst causing chaos destroying the reception counter.
