These are the kindest vets, every one of them has looked after our dog and given him time. The best most professional care. Lovely reception. Never overcharge. Thanks for looking after dear old Ben.

We phoned about our cat who was bleeding out after being hit by a car (a saucer sized pool of blood, so very urgent). Time was of the essence as we live in Kilkeel and it’s 40 minutes drive to the vet. So we phoned to see if we could start the journey to avoid our cat bleeding to death. We were told by someone with zero empathy that “the vet will phone you back”. Fine, we waited 10 minutes and no call, more blood. So we phoned them again: Us: Hi we phoned about our cat and haven’t heard anything and he’s bleeding really badly? Clanrye: the vet will phone you. Us: we were wondering if we could start driving towards Newry because we’re in Kilkeel? Clanrye: the vet will phone you back. So we went to another vet in Mourne and had him in seeing a vet in 5 minutes. I’m currently outside writing this scathing review. We didn’t expect the zero empathy response we got from Clanrye. We understand that you may be busy but there is no excuse for the way you speak to someone who is potentially watching their cat die.

Constantly an excellent service from the vets and reception staff. Can't thank them enough for the professional way they helped us throughout the sickness and death of our beloved pet dog Bert. Would have no hesitation in recommending this Kilkeel practice
