Unfortunately I don't know what's happening here but it seems if you do not get the Owner (Anneke ) then its nothing more than a cash grab, registered a new dog taken for his initial check and 2nd injections, they didn't even bother to weigh the dog , and when I said my only concern with him being a large breed was the rear end and joints , didn't check range of motion nothing. All they were interested was peddling a range of subscribed services and insurances. They even booked my dog in on the wrong day for what is a strict 2 week time span medication, of what I had to point out that was the reason we booked in advance over the phone and quoted the injection type to them. Its a shame but ill be going to Peak Vets from now on.

Decent vets and friendly easy to get an appointment : but expensive. Overcharged for a consultation for a kitten we’d found in a box. Just for a quick check over and worming. £62 but when we questioned the amount as had been quoted £40 they phoned back to refund. Just find vets very pricey these days and don’t really have faith that they will advise in the best interest of the pet and owner but what appears to make the most profit for the vets. Not just this practice but most. Haven’t had good experience of vets generally over the last years. You can’t have a pet without having insurance these days and I think prices are very much set up for this.

Highly recommend, all of the staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. Such a fantastic vets that I travel a long way to get here as other vets just aren't as good. They go above and beyond for you every time and I can't thank them enough for all they have done over the years for the plethora of animals from ferrets, tortoises, chickens, cats, dogs and more :)

Had nothing but wonderful service from this practice. They managed to get my cat in on short notice when she broke her foot and they were absolutely stellar when she had complications with her spaying. Everyone is always very friendly and the prices are very fair. Couldn't recommend them more!

Absolutely exceptional practice. They’re extremely knowledgeable and genuinely interested in veterinary medicine, often referencing recent papers they’ve read. Having tried several vets in the area, we’ve now been with Broomhill for 7 years. They’ve cared for all our animals from rats (they’re by far the best small animal vets in Sheffield and beyond; Anneke is a genius) to cats (Hannah and Katie - apologies if I’ve got names wrong! - are brilliant), and they’ve gone truly above and beyond in all cases. I can always be completely confident that whatever any of the vets at the practice have to say is 100% the best course of action. Their genuine love and care of animals shines through in everything they do.
