We unfortunately had to have our dog put to sleep, and honestly I couldn't have done it with the help of these beautiful people at Beck Vets. From the first initial phone call right until the very end they were brilliant. They explained everything to me, they were compassionate and answered any questions I had. In such a hard time they made it peaceful for us as a family to spend time with our boy right until the very end. We can't thank them enough for everything.

Libby is just the most brilliant vet there is! She has been so caring with our dog Rocket while he has been poorly and although his condition is chronic, he is much improved and we feel so confident in each bit of advice she gives us. From the moment Libby sees him, you can tell just how much she cares for him & I’m sure all the animals she sees. She never hesitates to research things on his behalf and I know she has done this in her own time. Sue, Toby, Sara & everyone on reception are also very helpful as we have had to claim on our insurance twice now & they have even helped us do this! Thanks to all at Becks for being the best around ❤️

Our dog Teddy suffered from fits. The final one took him from us. The team at Becks practice were great. We rushed him to whitby late evening, and the team got straight to work while we watched on. Could not fault them, we were well impressed. Sadly to no avail, but by god did they try. Well done team, RESPECT👍

Today was the day we had to say goodbye to our elderly dog. The Beck Veterinary Practice provided us with unacceptable service, four members of staff stood behind the counter and ignored us. We were sat in an empty waiting room for over 20minutes before we were finally approached. When we did get to see the Vet, he would not let us be there to say goodbye to our beloved pet as they were put to sleep. We walked out. Nobody should have to go through this. There was no care, no kindness and we were made to feel more like an inconvenience.

I recently took our Toby to this vet practice, the experience was absolutely brilliant. From the initial phone booking taken by a young lady called Beck, she was kind, attentive and reassuring, with an excellent telephone manner. To the ladies at reception one of whom called Ingrid, on the day of our attending, made me feel so very welcome. And of course the Scottish vet chap, such a lovely reassuring man, took time to fully explain Toby’s issues, not just in technical terms, but in layman terms dusted with a sprinkling good humour. I will be remaining a customer for Toby’s sake with this practice Thankyou
