For over 25 years I've trusted the fantastic team at Avalon Veterinary Clinic with the care of my pets. Initially cats and now my wee dog. We are so lucky they are an independent vet practice who treat animals with care and compassion. Every single member of the team is knowledgeable, helpful and always ready to listen and to help. My wee dog has some physical and mental health issues. Throughout the 5 years of her life she has had the best care and, safe exceptions made to normal procedures to minimise her stress levels. Every consultation is thorough with all options etc explained clearly. I could tell lots of stories of the amazing care my cats also received. I would, and always do, recommend Avalon Veterinary Clinic.

Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Alison and Shi Ning are my dogs favourites vets (they are good treat dispensers). They also love to be spoiled Chloe and Eva.

My old bengal I thought would be a challenge for a new vet! I inherited him when he was 10. Alison at Avalon was so patient with him even when he was growling and spitting, listening to her you would have thought he was angelic. Alison and Eva came to the house when they knew he was struggling in his last day of life. They were so understanding and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Avalon. My new cat is now a patient there.

The staff here are friendly and caring. They done a great job for the last 15yrs ensuring my working cocker Kayleigh was healthy and got the treatment she needed. They were comforting and compassionate when it was time to say goodbye 😢
