  Yesterday I checked my dog’s ears and saw that he had an ear infection so naturally I called the vet. Problem is we were on holiday in Armagh and bank holiday had arrived so everything was messed up. Called a load of veterinary clinics and all of them said they were fully booked or to call Tuesday. I just needed a quick assessment and treatment and not to wait for a later day as an ear infection could go really bad really quick. Fortunately for me I discovered Armadale vets who were nothing short of amazing and agreed to see my dog on short notice. The staff was kind and gentle, very patient, polite and professional. And in case of emergency they work on bank holidays as well. Fully recommend them

  I had previously used this vet for my dog’s vaccinations and never had any issues. However, when my dog recently became sick, I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was extremely rude on the phone. It was so unpleasant that I ended the call without booking. I’ve since taken my dog elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

  My partner had an appointment here recently and was really disappointed by the atmosphere at the front desk. The receptionist was abrupt and dismissive, which set a negative tone before I even got to my appointment. It’s a shame because first impressions matter, and the energy at reception felt unwelcoming and stressful rather than professional or supportive. A bit of courtesy and basic respect would go a long way. I also overheard a reception member making comments about another staff member with another older lady. Seemed to be cleaner Sort this out guys :(

  This Vetanary group in Armagh are without doubt the most passionate, caring, skilled people I have ever met. The vets, nurses and receptionists are all truly special the way they deal with pets and their owners. I want to thank them all for the care of my dog Dylan for the past 8 years and especially more recently when we had to say goodbye, it was done with such dignity and compassion.   Our cat needed emergency treatment on Easter Sunday. We called the clinic, and the vet told us he was already on his way. We live just 10 minutes away, and by the time we arrived, he was already there waiting for us. He was unbelievably gentle and careful with our cat. I’m no expert in veterinary care, but it was clear he took time to consider everything thoroughly before starting treatment. Given the urgency, quality of care, and the holiday timing, the final price was more than reasonable. Truly grateful for the compassion and professionalism.
