  Friendly and supportive staff. The staff kept me informed at every stage of the kittens illness, surgery and recovery stages. The staff gave me the information so I felt confident in the decisions and I would go back here regardless of distance. The health insurance on the kitten was still in active at the time of emergency need which meant I had to pay, however I did feel that the costing was appropriate.

  Our TPLO surgery experience- Animal Trust Shrewsbury is truly incredible, and I’m so grateful I found them. My boy Hugo, 2-year-old Cane Corso X, was diagnosed with cruciate disease earlier this year. It was such a scary time and I had no idea how I was going to afford the treatment he needed. Thankfully, Animal Trust provided exceptional care and performed both of Hugo’s TPLO surgeries at a fair and transparent price. We had Ed for both surgeries, and he was absolutely phenomenal. During Hugo’s first surgery in February 2026, they discovered he had a complete cruciate ligament tear and also needed part of his meniscus removed due to some damage. Ed explained everything so clearly and kept me fully informed. At Hugo’s second surgery in July 2026, I was reassured that his first knee had healed beautifully on the X-rays, and this time they were able to repair a partial cruciate ligament tear. Ed and one of the nurses even called me after each surgery to update me on how everything had gone, which meant so much. They also were totally understanding when I called for updates! Hugo is an anxious dog due to his past before I adopted him, and every member of staff took the time to understand his needs and treated him with so much patience, kindness, and compassion. I travelled three hours each way for Hugo’s surgeries, but it was worth every mile. Even after we got home, they were always just a phone call away if I had any questions during his recovery and had schedules 2 follow up calls to check in with his progress. I genuinely can’t recommend Animal Trust Shrewsbury highly enough. They gave my best friend the care he needed at a price that made it possible, and I’ll always be incredibly grateful to Ed and the whole team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We have a journey of recovery ahead now but I’m excited for the adventures and pain free life Hugo’s now got ahead of him! Lauren & Hugo

  I wanted to leave some feedback for Rebecca following my dog’s recent diabetes diagnosis. Rebecca was absolutely amazing. She was professional, caring, and incredibly patient throughout the appointment. She took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I fully understood how to manage my dog’s diabetes and administer the insulin correctly. During the appointment, there was an emergency that required Rebecca to leave and assist another patient. Despite the pressure of the situation, she returned calm, composed, and completely focused. She continued to give us the same level of care and attention, never making us feel rushed. Before I left, she made sure I felt completely confident and answered all of my questions. Her kindness, reassurance, and professionalism made what was a very overwhelming day much easier to cope with. Rebecca is a real credit to the practice, and I’m incredibly grateful for the outstanding care and support she gave both me and my dog. Thank you so much.

  We are so grateful to the team at Animal Trust. Our bulldog recently had entropion surgery and the care she received was amazing from start to finish. The staff were kind, patient and really caring throughout the whole process. Two years ago our other dog had an amputation there, and again the aftercare was incredible. We was between this and our local vets but I trust more in Animal trust as you can see they care for the animal not the money They kept calling us with updates during and after surgery to let us know how our dog was doing, which meant so much to us and really helped ease the stress. You can tell the team genuinely care about the animals and not just the treatment itself. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for our dogs ❤️

  Great experience at the Animal Trust Vet in Shrewsbury, I have recently moved to the area, so didn’t really know which Vet to go to, I read the reviews and booked appointment online, the Vet I saw took the time to make my dog Beau feel comfortable and also my other dog who wasn’t being treated but who won’t go anywhere without Beau, I was given all the necessary information to make a decision re his procedure, and really did feel that the Vet enjoyed her job, and had a bond with my dogs, I have been to other vets where this is certainly not the case. Could not fault the service in any way and felt welcome from the minute we walked in.
