Had a really good night at the Alba Vet first aid event. It was very informative with lots of visual information and hands on involvement. The hall was well laid out and well organised with free tea and coffee plus there was home baking on offer for a donation to an animal charity. I was very impressed to see that they had all the baked goods labelled for allergens and I was able to buy gluten free cake and cookies. We were also given a goody bag containing bandaging materials, dog treats and an information booklet covering all of the information available within the venue. All in all it was a very worthwhile event and I would strongly recommend any pet owner to go along to the next one

All of the staff at Albavet, and in particular Nicki and Katy, go above and beyond for their patients. We have never felt so supported, from the moment we met them to the more challenging conversations we had to have, every moment they had our beautiful boy’s best interests at heart and spoke to us with compassion and care. We were never made to feel like a burden and the care was outstanding every time. We cannot fault them and we’re so grateful to them.

Sarah was so caring and sympathetic when I called in a panic about my dog. She was so kind and go me an appointment asap. On arrival, Steph took time to comfort my dog and bought doggy loyalty with tasty treats! The vet (Katie) was so patient and explained everything to me like I was 3 (which I needed as I wanted to remember everything). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from one nervous dog and owner ❤️

We recently returned to Albavet for a second opinion about our dog’s health, and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we met Katy, we knew our pets were in caring and capable hands. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all our questions (no matter how small), and was completely transparent throughout the process. We really appreciated that she never tried to oversell any treatments or medications — her focus was entirely on what was best for our dog. Katy showed genuine compassion and professionalism, taking wonderful care of our boy. When our cat later needed a check-up, there was no question about where we’d go — we booked straight back in with Katy. Once again, she provided exceptional care, showing the same warmth and dedication that sets her apart. Katy is truly a credit to the Albavet team and has completely restored our faith in the practices. Thank you, Katy, and the whole team at Albavet, for the continuous care, honesty, and love you show to our animals. We couldn’t recommend you more highly! 🐾
