  Found a baby bat so took to this lovely Rescue Centre. These places need as much support as they can get. Check out their open days. Next one 5th July 2026

  Angels do walk amongst us! What a special place full of wonderful, caring people. We brought a baby bird here that our cat had brought home, and the volunteers were quick to take it in and give it the care it needed. Thank you to the Vale team for everything you do for our wildlife!

  Well....the devastation continues. My cats are providing vale with plenty to do. Today i took a beautiful msle sparrow, I didn't have a clue that's what it qas until they told me. It was a little bit bleeding so they've given it antibiotics and now we just have to Hope he'll be OK thus first 48hours is the worst. Over the years I've had to bring a few pigeons (often don't make it) frogs and soarriws and they have been absolutely lovely. I usually leave a nice donation to make up for the costs financially. They are never judgey and always take really good care of whatever I take them. Its easy to find and I go right past the turn every time. There's a toilet and a lovely gift shop. Fingers crossed for this one. She looks like butter wouldn't melt doesn't she (and it wouldn't but largely because she's eaten it) vale are currently trialing birds outside just as an fyi

  Attended their annual open day last weekend and what an amazing hospital and event!! Plenty of plant based food and amazing animal protection organisations present. So lucky to have this hospital in our area and so many patients being taken care of. Fantastic staff and truly amazing volunteers giving their time to the wildlife.

  Amazing staff, great facilities. They do a wonderful job treating and rehabilitating wild animals. I took an injured baby rabbit to see if they could help it. They provide updates on their website using the reference number they give you when you drop an animal off. There is a shop in the reception area with lovely gifts that also provides funds for the charity. You can also purchase a membership online and donate much needed funds. Please support them by donating anything you can spare.
