About this practice
PDSA is a veterinary charity that provides free and low-cost veterinary care to pets of eligible owners across the UK. They offer a range of services aimed at helping sick and injured animals whose owners might otherwise struggle to afford treatment. What makes PDSA special is its charitable mission to keep people and pets together by alleviating suffering. They operate a network of Pet Hospitals and clinics, supported by donations and fundraising efforts, ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent pets from receiving necessary medical attention. Practical information includes various ways to support their work through donations, including monthly and one-off contributions, as well as gifts in Wills. Owners can find help for their pets through PDSA services, and general pet care advice is also available on their website.

Read on Google →They were so understanding when my cat had an emergency. He was seen to within hours, and he was really calm with the vet. He received great care and treatment. The staff were very friendly. Great experience, and my cat healed within a week.
Read on Google →Depends on the vet. I try to understand that veterinary care as a charity is very difficult, but I haven't been happy with the standard of care at times. I am grateful that during my personal rough patch, made worse by discovering the pet insurance we have wouldn't cover this particular issue, the PDSA could help. The veterinary care wasn't gold standard, but it was affordable.
Read on Google →Up to now this vet has helped a lot with my dogs but this weekend they have failed my chihuahua, my poor girl got this massive lump on her neck and it speeded to her cheek in a day after she was seen by PDSA they said it was a saliva grand when it was actually a abscess I ring them and told them what happened that her lump had popped and was bleeding a lot she couldn't even put her head down she was crying in pain and everything and they wouldn't see her till they opened at 9am and when I call them at 9am they still wouldn't see her so I had to ask a family member for a loan so I could get her seen by different vet and the other vet was amazing and said that pdsa should of drained it the day before when they saw her and should of given her more medication then they did and they shouldnt off sent away with wrong medication and won't info and tell me they see me again in 2 weeks? The new vet saw her today put her on right meds and drained it and wants to see her in 48 hours so we are now on right path but pdsa have failed me and my pet on this one and now I owe my family money. As soon as at start psda been washing with my chihuahua and my jack Russell in the past but this one time they was helpless.
