But if you are going to use a service like this, you want someone in your home with empathy & compassion. Someone who takes your pain seriously. Someone who understands the difficulty of the decision being made. Who approaches it with calm, clear directions, as well as a flexible and relaxed attitude, working around your needs. Laura was all of that and more for our baby Betty. While I wouldn't wish it on anyone, if you have to go through it, I couldn't recommend Time2SayGoodbye enough. When I spoke to reception, they were lovely. So supportive and kind. Laura when she arrived was exactly the same. It felt like a very comfortable and extremely dignified end for our lovely girl. I could hardly speak between the sobs and having to verbalise my request for the first time. The staff where so kind and patient, I believe I called them out of hours but they still gave me their time and amazing amount of patience. Once I had all the family with our baby I called to see when they could arrive. As their vet was on another call it would have been a wait. They could have been greedy by making us wait when our pet was suffering just to make extra money. Instead they contacted another service for me who could come immediately and they did an amazing job. I am so grateful for how they handled this. It must be such a hard job but they still helped so much. I honestly couldn’t have ask for anything more. Absolutely astounding!!
