You know you’re getting the best dental treatment in the country! Horses are sedated and thorough examinations take place. My mini Shetland had her routine check and a hole was discovered. This could have been easily missed, if the pony was not sedated and stood still. She went into the clinic yesterday. After X-rays to determine whether a filling or tooth removal should happen, it was good news to hear it was only a filling.
