All they did was take the bags from the car boot walk back through the gate and thow the bags into a shed. There was no thank you and no interest in the donation. I have been twice in the past few months and both times the staff barely looked up at us and when we asked about dogs that were advertised as being available for adoption they had been reserved and information hadn’t been changed. Tried to have a conversation about viewing other suitable dogs or about being contacted if things fell through and they just were uninterested. It made me feel so uncomfortable and disheartened. He’s come on leaps and bounds in just 2 weeks time and is the most affectionate, loving, funny dog we could have wished for. There are so many beautiful dogs in this rescue in need of a loving home and rescuing a dog is one of the most challenging but amazing things you could ever do. If you’re looking for a dog please do try to rescue a fur baby in need apposed to buying from puppy farms / breeders. They’re so grateful for a full belly, warm bed and lots of cuddles!
