The practice focuses exclusively on providing this alternative therapy in the comfort of pets' homes across various South London postcodes, including SE, SW, CR, BR, and SM areas. This mobile approach aims to reduce stress for pets by eliminating the need for clinic visits. The practice is led by Carolyn Smith, an experienced veterinarian who qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2011 and founded London Veterinary Acupuncture in 2021. She is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists, holding a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine). Her approach involves personalising treatment plans for each pet after reviewing their medical history. Appointments cost £105 for initial treatments lasting 45-60 minutes and follow-up treatments lasting 30-45 minutes. Pets' regular veterinarians must provide consent before treatment. While services are primarily offered in specific postcodes, enquiries from outside these areas are considered, potentially with an additional travel surcharge.
