Wrong, if the pet is from the EU they can maintain their EU pet passport. After much haggling, she finally agreed to the use of the passport. The vet then dropped our little dog from the height of the examination table & proceeded to scowl at me. I was not holding our dog at the time, she was. She wasn't concerned about any injury that she may have caused, just in protecting herself! Fast forward six months & we went back for a routine vaccination. Another vet listened with her stethoscope to our dog's heart & declared that she had a heart murmer & recommended that we take her to the specialist in the area: Stamford Veterinary Centre. Surprise surprise, they found nothing of the sort. Neither did her next vet in England, nor her veterinary surgery in Portugal. Warning ⚠️ This vet is not your local independent practice.
