The receptionist who was our first point of contact was clearly devoted to animals and made every effort to give us an earlier appointment to the one we had arranged online. Sadly we had to put our cat Hobbit to sleep and the vet (sorry didn't get names on the day) dealt with us in just the right manner under the circumstances, professional but with just the right amount of sympathy to help us through the decision.
