Not every component is annual. Current [BSAVA](https://www.bsava.com/resource/vaccination-guidelines/) guidance is that panleukopenia immunity typically lasts three years, while the cat flu components and FeLV need more frequent boosting. In practice most vets run a yearly appointment that includes a full health check and boosts only what's due. That yearly health check has real value — it's how dental disease, weight problems, thyroid issues and kidney disease get picked up early in cats.
